What you'll do:
The Contract-Order manager is the main contact for Eaton's customers who ordered a project. The Contract Order manager makes sure the signed contract or project is delivered on time against the specification of the customer. The Contract-Order manager works closely with the account manager, application engineers and the internal project manager of the Business Unit. The incumbent will be involved in projects/orders in the following products: electrotechnical switching distribution devices (medium and low voltage). Modularly furnished standard systems with customer specific solutions. Projects will be received from Sales (external organization). The Contract-Order manager manages a volume of 3-18 customers where the project volume varies from €5000 to €500.000 for Assembly to Order (ATO), and €5000 to €1,5 million for Engineering to Order (ETO). The lead time varies from 12 weeks up to 1 year. You have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment and close connection to sales. Efficient and good communication is key in your role. Your team consist of several Contract-Order managers, inside sales engineers and application engineers. In addition you work closely with account management and the Global Project management team which are also based at the Hengelo campus.

• Responsible for a clean order intake and initiate the order processing after customer specifications are clear.
• You are responsible to track the order and monitor delivery time on a regular basis. You communicate with the customer when changes arise on delivery time or specifications. Therefore, a close collaboration with the internal project manager and customer is needed.
• You actively cooperate with the internal project manager to monitor the project planning, budget and costs.
• You initiate and lead the kick-off and progress meetings of projects.
• You report on the project progress with the customer on a professional level.
• You have technical knowledge and if specifications cannot be made, you negotiate with the customer the contract/project and pro-actively come up with solutions.
• You understand the terms and conditions of the contract and adhere to this.
• You organise and plan with the BU the FAT and SAT accompanied by the customer.
• You are the first point of contact for warranties and claims.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
• +/- 5 years of working experience
