The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:
Eaton's Electrical Sector is currently seeking a CI/OPEX Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Fontana, Ca Distribution Center.
Position Overview:
The Fontana facility has approximately 115 employees and is a distribution center serving the Electrical Sector in the Americas Region. The Fontana facility is a cost-center service organization with the central purpose of providing value added logistics support for the distribution, sales and service of electrical products and components, in the US & internationally.

Essential Functions:
• Provide quality leadership and direction for a process within the Distribution Center in a multi shift, high volume, high order capacity.
• Coordinate and assist with corporate or division initiatives, participating on teams in order to drive best practices across Eaton Corp
• Guide improvement teams in the development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, analysis of out of control conditions, waste removal and process audits.
• Lead successful Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Events for the facility
• Utilize the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) tools to drive process improvements
• Assist with development and deployment of long term CI roadmap for facility
• Act as the tool expert and train others on ECIS tools
• Assist with OpA, MESH and Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) assessments when required
• Coach, mentor, develop, and conduct performance reviews for direct reports
• Provide regular Annual Operating Plan (AOP) status updates to the senior leadership team
• Support other areas of Operational Excellence (ISO 9001, EHS, EQMS, ADKAR, VSM etc.) as needed
• Serve as an active member of the facility's Extended Leadership team, providing input for strategy, direction and continuous improvement
• Receive ideas from the floor (1 idea per employee per year) and convert them, through ideation, to standard work
• Train facility staff on continuous improvement philosophy, methodology
• Support and drive Operational Assessment
• Provide GPS, project-cost out and Capital updates
• Implement projects to improve or sustain high five metrics
• Performing 5S audits; keeping Safety first
• Responsible for the facility's Training Program
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of operations or continuous improvement experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience managing people and/or leading project teams
• Must be able to work in the U.S on a continuous basis without company sponsorship
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification
• ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence
• Continuous Improvement (CI) Certifications
• This position may require working some weekends
Position Criteria:
• Ability to travel 10-25%
• This role is 100% onsite
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, computer) required
• Demonstrated proficiency with basic manufacturing tools such as Lean, Six-Sigma, problem solving/decision making
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI, etc.)
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support customer and manufacturing requirement
