Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer. This role will be based in Raleigh, NC.

Relocation will be offered!

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250 - $117,700 a year.

What you'll do:

Professional experience within the CI and I4.0 methodologies. Knowledge of I4.0 trends, to support Raleigh NC plant. Functionally responsible for the development and implementation of new technologies in alignment with Eaton's Industry 4.0 and digitalization journey. Provide technical guidance for error proofing initiatives to support productivity goals across the business. Ensure alignment to all customer, industry and internal requirements linked to Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Recommends changes to existing manufacturing processes to improve manufacturing productivity and improve lean flow of materials utilizing Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS)
  • Manage and enhance current I4.0 in the plant while looking for new solutions to implement
  • Lead or facilitate projects or events such as Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Map (VSM) process, Continuous Flow, Standardization 5S+, Error Proofing, Eliminating Waste, TPM, Pull System, etc
  • Lead or support discussions with internal customers or suppliers focused on I4.0 initiatives timelines, goals, and related metrics
  • Support and co-lead Process Controls and Testing(PCAT) initiatives
  • Benchmark best practices across Eaton Sites and share lessons learned through the plant.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to support /lead discussion as needed for ECIS and I4.0 initiatives.
  • Create and maintain data sources and visualization reports, including devices for displaying data.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering or manufacturing experience
  • Previously created a PowerBI dashboard
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to write code using the following languages.
    • Python, labview, sql server , asp .net
