The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that enhance our organization's image and effectively convey our messages to various stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of communication principles, excellent writing skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform communication efforts.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement communication strategies for the IT organization.
• Tell the story of IT to all levels of the organization.
• Create and manage content for various communication channels, including internal newsletters, Viva Engage, LinkedIn, and Eaton's website.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall brand strategy.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the planning and execution of events, webinars, and other IT sponsored activities.
• Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in communication.
• Provide support for issue management as needed.
• Develop and implement storytelling strategies to enhance audience engagement across various platforms.
• Analyze data to identify key trends and insights that can be translated into compelling narratives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and product development, to ensure cohesive and impactful storytelling.
• Create and deliver presentations, reports, and other content that effectively communicates complex information in an engaging and accessible manner.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of storytelling initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in storytelling and engagement.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required Degree in communication, marketing, public relations or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in storytelling, content creation, or a similar role. Background in crafting impactful narratives, creating compelling copy, and designing engaging visual content
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in a corporate or agency setting
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools
• Proficiency in graphic design and familiarity with tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create visually engaging content.
• Experience working with senior leadership teams
• Ability to demonstrate a professional presence.
Skills:
Position Criteria:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using various platforms and applications, such as Microsoft 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Viva Engage, etc.), Canva, Eloqua, and video editing tools. (Video editing preferred, not required)
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting engaging narratives.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize requests, and stay organized.
• 10% travel required
