Eaton's EPG EAS Electrical Automation Solutions division is currently seeking a Commercial Solution Integration Architect. This position is based at the Eaton Americas Innovation Center in Brossard, Québec, Canada. This role offers hybrid work opportunities, as well as benefits from day one. Your role will also involve crafting compelling narratives for new solutions and showcasing these integrated solutions both internally and externally. Additionally, you'll play a crucial part in training our Sales teams and Solution Architects, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
You will engage with a diverse array of professionals, including external industry thought leaders, product line managers, product owners, application engineers, and solution architects. Your collaboration will be pivotal in supporting the technical creation of new proposals and bids for innovative solutions.
You'll work closely with solutions fulfillment and development teams on new projects, ensuring seamless integration and execution. Additionally, you'll design new dashboards and visuals to effectively showcase integrated solutions, transforming data into actionable insights from edge to enterprise using both open-source and industry-standard tools.
Qualifications:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems, encompassing a wide range of communication technologies, devices, and protocols.
- Proven experience in delivering integration and automation turnkey systems and training for complex solutions in regulated industries (e.g., SCADA, protection, automation & controls, utility communications, OT & IT).
- Demonstrated ability to present technical solutions to customers, marketing teams, and at industry events.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Fluency in English and French (working proficiency). Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Quebec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 80km radius of Brossard, QC will be considered.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology, from an accredited institution.
- Candidates wishing to have the engineer title must be members of the OIQ.
