What you'll do:

As the Korea Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall performance of the GEIS business in Korea. This includes managing the regional budget, achieving sales objectives, and developing and implementing sales plans aligned with our business strategy. You will lead the Korea team, ensuring employee engagement and financial performance.

  1. Develop, own, and execute the Korea country strategy and profit plan for the GEIS business.
  2. Oversee the financial performance of the Korea region.
  3. Lead regional strategic growth initiatives and ensure regular reviews to meet growth objectives.
  4. Document, track, and report progress to management during weekly performance reviews, growth reviews, and ROP reviews.
  5. Foster close cooperation with regional functional teams and other regions.
  6. Manage local distribution and agency channels, and oversee key accounts in the region.
  7. Drive engagement in Korea and create opportunities for synergy across the GEIS business.
  8. Build and maintain the Korea talent pipeline, focusing on developing young key potentials to prevent knowledge and resource loss.
  9. Lead and develop the team, ensuring succession planning and bench strength for future growth. Provide leadership to the sales team to meet or exceed financial and aspirational goals.
  10. Manage large projects effectively.
  11. Be flexible to travel as needed for business purposes.
  12. Perform other tasks as assigned by leaders within and across the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven industry experience with a track record of solid performance.
  • Adept at big project management.
  • Experienced in new segment business development and market penetration under uncertain and ambiguous market dynamics.
  • Rich expertise in channel management and strategic layout for competitive business models.
  • Experienced in major change management with strong self-driven agility and an agile mindset in the face of changes.
  • Great communicator with excellent listening skills and proficiency in digital communication channels.
  • Ability to think and act strategically.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English.
