Eaton's Industrial Controls Division is currently seeking a Channel Marketing Analyst. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week) that can be based at our Menomonee Falls, WI or Moon Township, PA location.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you'll do:

The Channel Marketing Analyst will perform competitive analysis of industrial control components within the Electrical industry, across both product and service providers, to better drive positioning and pricing in future business decisions. A particular focus will be made on opportunities for growth, branding and customer acquisition as well as supporting/administering the ICD channel programs, EMROC2 and OEM Stocking.

The Marketing Analyst assists the Division Channel Manager with data analysis to meet the goal of creating a more user-friendly and efficient process for managing our customer and product marketing data. The analyst will review Eaton's Industrial Control marketing tools and organize the common repository for all our marketing collaterals - including pricing, presentations, product guides, competitor comparisons, and customer success stories. In addition, this role will be responsible for reviewing marketing campaign results (like revenue increase, reach, or engagement) to improve campaigns.

Essential Functions:

  • Collect, analyze, and leverage market intelligence information to identify increasing or decreasing sales trends and disrupt buying habits that preclude existing and potential customers from purchasing through Eaton authorized channels.
  • Develop, administer, and support ICD programs, promotions, targeted marketing, and training to Eaton internal sales teams and occasionally to external distributors.
  • Review key performance metrics with division, field sales, and distributors to ensure accountability for results and support development of action items to improve loyalty with Eaton authorized channel.
  • Support field sales and distributors to promote ICD channel programs (EMROC2 and OEM Stocking), leading problem resolution, and advocating for the customer to the division to optimize ICD share growth.
  • Support Division Channel Manager and Division Product Line Managers objectives to conceptualize, promote, and execute channel focused marketing initiatives based on commercial status, including collection and development of collateral.
  • Maintain ownership of tracking promotional campaigns, channel program performance, and product awareness efforts for the division.
  • Manage projects that align to the success of the division, including marketing communications, championing of digital tools, and supporting channel activities/programs. Activities may include the creation and/or development of reporting metrics for channel.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location(s) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or marketing from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years direct experience with marketing and/or sales
  • Experience with competitive analysis and recommendations in a technical industry

  • Ability to analyze metrics dashboards and act upon results for continuous improvements
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to independently manage multiple projects and complete projects to schedule
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective working knowledge of PowerBI

  • Track record of multi-tasking, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to create effective working relationships with all levels of the company
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment and embrace technology
  • Ability to react quickly to changing demands, environments, tight deadlines
  • 10% travel may be required
