What you'll do:

"EIIC functional excellence organization is aligned with CTO's strategy to drive "One Eaton Engineering Functional Excellence". The Charter of this organization is to simplify & create better work experiences for our Engineers by transforming existing engineering work processes.
We are seeking a skilled "Change Management Technical Writer" to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continuous improvement and change management initiatives. Leverage EBS tools, continuous improvement techniques, change Management methodologies and best practices to identify issues, propose solutions to address gaps, drive-support corrective actions, and measure results. Capture lessons learned and provide to business.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for change management processes, including change requests, impact assessments, and approval workflows.
• You will collaborate closely with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to understand the technical details and present them in a way that is easily digestible for the intended audience." in translating complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
• Write and edit technical documents, including user guides, process manuals, user manuals, training materials, and technical reports to support change management activities.
• Create user guides, process documentation, and training materials to support change management activities.
• Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain version control and track changes to documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in the content. Maintain effective communication with SMEs to validate content accuracy. Document current and future process states in Signavio
• Assist in the development and implementation of communication plans for change initiatives.
• Review and edit documentation created by other team members to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in change management and technical writing.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation that serves as a valuable resource for users communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Understanding of VSMs (Value Stream Maps) and ability to document Current and Future States
• Help transform the way the project teams thinks about work, Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement and drive PM Excellence through the deployment of Value stream mapping methodologies & Accountabilities

• Audience Focus - Present technical information in a way that is easily understood by the target audience. Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for maximum reader comprehension.
• Quality Assurance - Review and edit content developed by other team members. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and guidelines. Develop and follow processes to ensure Quality Control of all releases
• Product Knowledge - Develop a deep understanding of the products and services related to Eaton. Translate product / process features and functionality into user-friendly documentation
• Conceptualize and Implement programs to build CI culture and competency throughout Organization

Qualifications:

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (e.g., Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related discipline) with 6-9 Yrs experience.
• Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in change management or a related area.
• Knowledge of Value stream mapping.
• Lean Six sigma sound knowledge is MUST

Good to have:
• Lean Six Sigma/DMAIC Qualifications/Green Belt Certifications highly desirable
• Formal training/certification in Lean tools and/or Six Sigma.
• Change management certification

1. Excellent written and oral communication & inter-personal skills, ability to develop high-quality documents
2. Strong understanding of change management principles and practices.
3. Ability to lead and motivate team members with indirect reporting relationships across multiple geographies. through a CI journey.
4. Entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work independently and take initiative under pressure.
5. Strong collaboration mindset with ability to work with a group of people with different functional expertise.
6. Adaptability to deliver in ambiguous context, flexible, comfortable with changes.
7. Efficient analytical skills, attention to details.
