The hours for this role are 7:00AM-3:30PM
The hourly rate for this position is $25.52 per hour.

What you'll do:
The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton's Aerospace Group has an opening for a Fuel Pump Packer. This position is based in Euclid, OH and offering an hourly rate of $ 24.77.
The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

Position Overview:
• Receive, distribute, and inventory a variety of materials for distribution operations and dock.
• Perform packaging and material movement activities.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y14-5 and the certified operator program.
• Assistance may be given to other operators on proper operational procedures.
• Perform stock and packaging functions for distribution operations and dock.
• Perform 5S and other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform all work in connection with wrapping, packaging, and boxing parts, assemblies, tooling and other miscellaneous items for shipment.
Essential Functions:
• Perform pump packaging and spare part packaging for distribution operations.
• Maintain all required logs, documents, and records as required by the certified operator program.
• Visually inspect all assembled units to detect any irregularities.
• Stock and move material within the distribution cell.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Perform activities such as checking incoming parts against bills of material.
• Receive supplies and parts from dock and stock room. Handle and store materials per QCPs.
• Visually inspect supplies received for part number mismatches and/or damages. Report any discrepancies immediately to the foreman in charge.
• Issue material from distribution operations.
• Periodically perform cycle counts for distribution operations. Tag supplies and complete stock location labels as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory, tag supplies and complete stock location labels within distribution center; monitor inventory levels and expiration dates of shelf-life items, and rotate stock as necessary.
• Receive/release parts on computerized inventory system for the distribution operations.
• Perform basic ERP transactions and generate any required shipping documents.
• Use electronic label making terminal to make labels and bar codes. Operate packaging machines when required.
• Refer to note codes on pack slips to determine correct shipping and packaging requirements.
• Perform visual verification of proper part identification and the absence of contamination and/or handling damage per visual quality standards.
• Maintain all required logs, documents, and records as required by the Certified Operator program.
• Perform audit inspection and acceptance of product and packing in accordance with documented procedures.
• Generate all required shipping documents
• Lift and transport materials as necessary (various boxes, packages, scrap material etc.)
• Unloading and loading of material from inbound/Outbound carriers, small package and freight, including maintaining a professional working relationship with carrier personnel.
• Use established packing and labeling procedures to prepare a variety of parts and accessories for shipment to worldwide distributors, customers, and suppliers. Must be thoroughly familiar with packing and labeling requirements for both Domestic and Export shipping relative to weights, classes, enclosures and fill-in materials.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Position Criteria:
• Complete an Eaton approved training program within 30 days.
• Become a Certified Operator within 40 days of becoming active on the code.
• Pass an Eaton vision test.
