What you'll do:
Join our Center of Excellence (CoE) office in Budapest to support Eaton manufacturing plants and locations across the EMEA region with operational procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance in the procurement of direct materials and process requisitions to generate Purchase Orders (POs).
- Communicate with network schedulers for timely planning updates and collaborate closely with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Manage order exceptions, resolve discrepancies with operations and suppliers, and oversee supplier invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate quality management for defective parts.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Product Managers on phase-in/out management while utilizing digital tools to enhance efficiency.
- Promote best practices and drive continuous improvement in materials management.
Skills:
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English, with at least intermediate skills in Turkish.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Vista, or BaaN.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration.
- A continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance processes.
- A proactive "Can Do" attitude, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
