Eaton's Electrical Sector - Power Distribution & Controls Assemblies (PDCA) business is seeking a seasoned Business Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing site in Wilsonville, Oregon.

Our non-union site has over 100 employees that work across 3 shifts. This robust site is responsible for assembly of various Engineered-To-Order (ETO) power distribution assemblies (low voltage, medium voltage, motor control centers, integrated power assemblies). Wilsonville is conveniently located near Portland, Oregon. Relocation assistance will be provided. Up to 20% travel will be required.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, PDCA, our Business Operations Manager is responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership. They drive profit and loss, growth strategy and organizational direction to meet and exceed short and long-term business goals. Additionally, this role will serve as a territory manager and drive the responsibility for the profitable growth of the respective assemblies within an assigned regional territory. Territory responsibilities include: utilizing pricing strategies, promoting new product launches, ensuring good communication to all sales channels, and staying informed of the strategies of the entire division.

In this role you will:
• Hire, review, motivate direct reports to accomplish specific plant objectives
• Act appropriately to ensure that employees are treated fairly; guide discipline/performance management process as necessary
• Work with Product Line Managers to execute product line specific pricing and marketing of programs for the divisions key product lines
• Establish and refine manufacturing processes to accomplish the specific volume, productivity improvements, and profit goals set forth by the operations leader and the product line managers (EBS, MESH, 5S, Lean, CIF, etc.)
• Negotiate the purchase and shipment of needed materials from outside vendors. Work with the Production Manager to review and approve all invoices from these vendors
• Maintain effective communication channels with Organizational Management Staff, Plants, Field Sales Management, Team Members, Distributors, and Contractors
• Maintain effective communication channels with internal suppliers to ensure the correct application and on time shipment of products
• Develop and maintain an understanding of applicable codes, regulations, and standards relating to the application of all plant products (NEMA, NEC, UL, etc.)
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement
• Proactively seek ways to improve overall plant performance.
• Review and resolve all warranty issues and claims in a manner that is consistent with standard company policies and is in the best interest of ourselves and our customers
• Stay abreast of Electrical Group technical product developments through training or other means
• Maintain and encourage an air of teamwork among others
• Work with employees to cross-train and promote to appropriate salary grades for the skill sets mastered

Your Qualifications:
• Prior exposure to product line management, sales, or marketing of a commercial or industrial manufactured product
• Minimum five (5) years previous experience in a manufacturing setting related to Operations, Quality, Continuous Improvement or Supply Chain
• Minimum five (5) years previous management of people experience required
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience with the low/medium voltage assemblies, motor control centers, and/or circuit breaker components
• Requires solid negotiation skills and market knowledge including competitor products
• Sales, marketing, or product line management experience in electrical industry

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136500.03 - $200200.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
