What you'll do:

The Business Manager manages families of product lines within the Mission Systems business. This role is responsible for the development and execution of the
budget strategy for the product lines in order to hit sales and booking targets. The Business Manager is also responsible for obtaining acceptable growth in incoming
orders and ensure continued growth and profitability of assigned product families.

• Responsible for achieving, planning and forecasting of bookings and revenue in support of business cycle for assigned product lines.

• Voice of the customer, responsible for maintaining relationship with key customers for existing product portfolio
• Manages existing business opportunities in the assigned product line to meet the financial and strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain current year profit plan and forecasts to ensure committed bookings and revenue, margin performance at the portfolio level
• Work with sales analyst team to support the demand aspect of the SIOP process. Is an active participant in all necessary phases of the process. Ensures
proper inputs for all customers are included and properly communicate risks and opportunities in delivering the financial forecast.
• Participate in the annual Profit Planning process by ensuring proper sales inputs are included by customer to deliver sales plan.
• Initiate and/or approve PROLaunch projects, prioritize and support project deck, working in conjunction with program managers and R&D team.
• Drive the execution of the profit plan for the assigned product(s)
• Develop and implement global tactical sales plans in cooperation with the sales analyst team and capability leadership
• Measure and report out on product forecast, activities and progress. Communicate and present results to the Leadership Team
• Review sales and price performance by product
• Work with Pricing Director to develop pricing and sales strategies for assigned product lines
• Assists in the assessment of market channel delivery options (direct or through distribution)
• Stay current with market and competitive trends
• Accountable for ensuring demand alignment and accuracy of demand plan for assigned customers within the SIOP process

Qualifications:
