Business Development Manager - Low Voltage

Our products include circuit protection, automation, switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to manage the Low Voltage (LV) sales pipeline for New Sales Wales. The successful candidates will manage the LV power distribution and controls portfolio (switchgear and switchboard) in NSW by maintaining and developing new business opportunities and improving revenue streams.

This role would suit a dynamic and sales driven person who thrives on identifying opportunities and constantly engaging the market to provide customer solutions with local experience and relationship.

Key Duties:

  • Achieve profit plan (budget) through orders, sales, price, profitability, and growth within their territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the assigned customer base, being the conduit of information, including product updates, price movements, technical updates and required reporting in line with company requirements and guidelines.
  • Identify and qualify new customers and opportunities in the territory to achieve organizational growth targets.
  • Identify and influence specifications and procurement of key projects in line with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Provide solutions to customers based on their business needs and your specialized product/market knowledge.
  • Provide training, presentation, and transfer of knowledge to customers on all Eaton offering.
  • Develop and manage an effective project pipeline and ensuring that you regularly update the company's CRM package.

Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in a sales role preferably in electrical low voltage industry (switchgear or switchboard)
  • Sound knowledge of industrial applications
  • Superior knowledge of sales techniques, customers, customer relations, personnel development, in-depth knowledge of products, product applications and specifiers.
  • Strong communication abilities to define target projects, capital expenditures and identify prime opportunities.
  • Track record of planning and managing the sales resources
