Business Development Manager will be covering Fire alarm systems in UK and Ireland. S/he will be responsible for sales strategy and identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and driving revenue growth with close alignment with the country sales organizations and direct account management. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong sales acumen.

What you'll do:

  • Ownership & responsibility for sales growth & profit plan execution. (end to end)
  • Define and drive strategic initiatives for growth, staying informed about industry trends and market activities and working closely with the country sales organizations.
  • Develop existing customers by establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities across the region.
  • Facilitate 'System Integrator' partnerships with a strong focus placed on customer engagement / meetings / events.
  • Work closely with the product line and operational teams to achieve sales targets & strategic initiatives.
  • Implement & manage customer / country sales organization pricing strategies
  • Embrace & implement Eaton standard process (eg Salesforce & pipeline CRM tools)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of engineering or similar degree
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial Fire market or similar
  • Good working knowledge of Fire technical solutions & standards
  • Proven track record of customer engagement / satisfaction

Skills:

  • Commercial experience managing large customers
  • Interpersonal and influencing / negotiating skills, ability to coordinate
  • Work well within a team environment, whilst being able to plan and execute own work initiatives
