Basket Fabrication- Production Welder (2nd Shift)

Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Basket Fabrication- Production Welder (2nd Shift).

The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour. The second shift hours are as follows; 2pm - 10pm.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

You will be responsible for producing a quality part efficiently. Eaton provides custom complex profile Filters and Strainers for a wide variety of customers and industries. Eaton's value-added fabrication can provide customers with the capabilities to complete any production.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Previous metal fabrication experience preferred
• High School Diploma / GED required.

Skills:

Applicant must be able to do the following:

  • Read and interpret prints, charts, work orders and other documents used in the manufacture of strainer baskets
  • Accurately use measurement and cutting equipment such as tape measures calipers, hand shears, table shear, drill press, cut off tools, grinders, engraver and inductive spot welding machines
  • Use roll forming equipment and perform simple assembly of metal components
  • Meet quality and productivity objectives and targets for department
  • Assist with cycle counting of inventory and annual physical inventory as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Follow all established job procedures
  • Adhere to Eaton, Safety, Environmental and Ethical policies and procedures
  • Work with limited supervision
  • Will rotate shifts and work overtime as required
  • Candidate must be a team player and willing to perform other tasks as required
  • This is a smoke free facility
  • Computer / software skills a plus
