Associate Product Manager

Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Associate Product Manager. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for product information including technical specs, sales material, cross-reference tables and tools for the launch of new products and maintenance of existing lines. This role will work with the Product Manager in the development, growth, and expansion of the Online UPS portfolio.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250 - $117,700 a year.

What you'll do:

  • Develop product information, application data, and web content for the 1Ph Online UPS product lines
  • Research competitors and develop competitive comparison analysis for sales and partners, highlighting
  • Eaton's product strengths and total solutions for the market
  • Act as a technical expert to support sales and support teams on customer opportunities and escalations when required. Channels to market include IT pros and resellers, electrical distributors, datacom agents, OEM's, end users and manufacturer's agents.
  • Communicate market trends, assist with Voice of Customer research in coordination with the Product Manager, to D-IT leadership team and other stakeholders
  • Update website and technical documents to reflect new product offerings and create tools to assist with product selection and competitive cross referencing
  • Assist product managers, channel marketing, and marketing team on messaging and promotions
  • Register products for sale in SAP and make updates to existing products as needed
  • Attend 2-3 shows/partner events a year to assist in communicating our product line and building partner/customer relationships
  • Field escalated technical inquiries and provide timely response to centralized Technical Support Team
  • Interface with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing on product changes or issue resolution

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree from an accredited educational institution
  • 2 years of sales, engineering, program management, sales or marketing professional experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of Raleigh, NC or Woodridge, IL office. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Technical knowledge of single-phase UPS systems
  • Understanding of PROLaunch Product Development process or similar stage gate process
  • Experience with SAP, Enovia, and Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) is desired
  • Familiarity with PCM and/or PDH (Product Data Hub) for updating product information
