Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Assembler-I.

The hourly rate for this position is 22.00/hour per hour.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
• 0-1 Years of Manufacturing Experience
• Must be authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorship
• Must reside within 50 miles of Tualatin OR to be considered. No relocation Benefits provided.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs with reasonable accommodation. Incumbent must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.

Preferred Qualifications
• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office, Outlook/Email.
• Soldering certification/experience is a plus
• Previous electronics manufacturing/assembly experience a plus

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Assembly Technician I will be responsible for providing assembly support within the final assembly area. Including but not limited to the final assembly of various product lines, & sub-assemblies, through the use of specialized hand or air tools, and specific work instructions. With the main objective to provide a finished product on time and in adherence to Eaton's quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Work to standard operating procedures / work instructions, bill of materials, product specific information, to complete assembly or sub-assemblies.
• Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
• Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product
• Perform some mechanical/electrical inspection to maintain quality goals and part performance standards.
• Reports irregularities or equipment malfunctions
• Adheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions
• Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S.
