Our products include circuit protection, automation, switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.

We are looking for atalented Application Engineer to work with the sales team to select and engineer products and solutions tailored to customer solutions for the CPC business.

Key Duties:



  • Provide guidance and technical support to ensure optimal performance of EATON AUs components, systems, and third-party products (internal and external)
  • Be the go-to for the power distribution sales team when they require sales support, technical support, proposal support
  • Develop technical & commercial solutions based on customer requirements using Eaton and selected third party products
  • Build relationships with product managers and the sales team to bridge products solutions and market requirements
  • Provide input for new product development and champion innovation initiatives
  • Provide product feedback to the product managers for material development and improvement, supporting domestic and international vendors
  • Deliver presentations on Eaton's solutions to external and internal stakeholders
  • Train internally and externally to optimise Eaton's value proposition in front of and within the customers` organisation

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an application or design engineer preferably in power distribution (low or medium voltage). Also open to candidates from critical power (UPS, Battery, Security Infrastructure).
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Good working knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and industry practices
  • Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technology and trends
