What you'll do:
This is an individual contributor role. The Instructional Designer plays a pivotal role in creating engaging and effective instructional materials, courses, and eLearning content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and experience using Storyline and Rise.
1. Design and Develop Learning Materials: Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer. Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs.
2. Use Authoring Tools: Using authoring tools, design and develop instructional content, including courses, modules, and learning materials, based on established learning objectives.
3. Instructional Design Models: Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.

4. Provide Exercises and Activities: Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
5. Multimedia Development: Integrate multimedia elements, such as graphics, animations, and videos, to enhance the visual and interactive aspects of learning materials.
6. Maintain Project Documentation: Maintain project documentation and course folders.
7. Learning Platforms: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver and manage content.
8. Feedback and Iteration: Collect feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve instructional content and delivery methods.
9. Work Management: Independently manage instructional design projects, including timelines, efforts and resources, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Reviews will be conducted at critical points during project.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Instructional Design, English, communication or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years.
Skills:
• Instructional Design Knowledge: Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
• Tools: Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools and multimedia software like Rise 360, Storyline 360, Captivate and Camtasia.
• Visual Design Skills: Ability to storyboard and visualize concepts graphically.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Team Player: Experience of working global and virtual teams.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
• Learner: Good learner who keeps abreast with learning technology trends, instructional design methodologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
