What you'll do:
This position will be based in Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE), Pune.The principle role of this position is to support Aerospace Business in UK region in the strategic purchasing activities.This includes supply planning, understanding materials to be purchased, negotiations with suppliers, ongoing supplier relationship management and effective stakeholder relationship management. This position requires the incumbent to work in UK shift: 12:00PM to 09:00PM.
"• Demand Planning, PO creation, timely PO acknowledgement & follow up with suppliers. Manage open POs through confirmations for deliveries, updating ERPs and managing orders.
• Knowledge in Inventory reduction, DOH calculation, Slow Moving inventory etc.

• Creating and timely updating the SOPs along with other related documents meeting QMS requirements.
• Timely resolution of 'On hold' invoices working closely with site, suppliers, Invoice team, resolving system interface errors in ERP and other financial applications.
• Day to day communication with various stakeholders like Site Buyers, SCM Manager, Suppliers with timely actions and resolutions, attending/leading site tier meeting.
• Knowledge on Price Increase Process, DMR, Claim Process etc.
• Identify and realize Cost Out & Cost Avoidance opportunity.
• Should be able to initiate and execute key projects for process standardization and process Improvement project that impact business.
• Creating daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per business requirement/own deliverables.
• Knowledge to read the drawing print and co-ordinate with vendor, engineering and other stakeholders.
• Negotiation skill to expedite the part and good relationship with vendor.
• Sound knowledge of End-to-End P2P cycle, Product Costing & Manufacturing Processes.
• Should be able to initiate and execute projects to achieve Productivity targets.
• Planning daily/weekly material from vendor managed warehouse to different plants; controlling Inventory at site level and vendor managed warehouse level.
• Monitoring suppliers for capacity issues & long-term planning based on forecasts.
• Improving supplier OTD; No Line Stoppages."
Qualifications:
Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent/ Post Graduate in any stream
7- 8 yrs experience/ 6-7 years of experience for MBA
