Eaton's EPG LAC Latin AmericaCaribbean Division division is currently seeking a Administrative and Offer Engineer.

What you'll do:

Job responsibilities

A. Develop competitive and standardized engineered solutions for customer specifications and requirements using products and services provided by EATON. Provide support to sales team on these activities.
B. Receive, analyze and request technical information from sales professionals, Project or Service engineers or even perform customer inquiries to generate specifications lists for every project.
C. Research and prepare any kind of documentation to support any engineered solution depending on customer specific necessities.
D. Analyze specifications beside with experienced Field Service Engineers on designs of new EATON's engineering solutions that perfectly fits customer needs and budget.

E. ERP order entry for EESS Central American and Caribbean. ERP job/task creation in order to add material expenses to every PO (purchase order). Invoicing process depends on the proper cost tracking.
F. Continuous monitor and tracking of all created orders, all through the manufacturing or importing process. Since its creation until its closing with the billing and delivering to customers.
G. Load and update the Proposals Spreadsheet and fill the CRM database with the opportunities.
H. EESS Order Entry Process and expediting. Jobs creation in Oracle, materials management and sub-contractors requisitions for projects execution.
I. Input data and closely monitor EESS' monthly reports, like: Orders, Sales, Backlog and Backlog Liquidation. In case of note any deviation from budget will have to warn direct management to take a proper corrective action.
J. Customer Service and good communication skills are essential for dealing constantly with distributors, technical agents, or any kind of customers either by phone or e-mails.
K. Keep records of every engineering solution submitted in order to continuously improve and gather feedback for future jobs.
L. Keep track of all warranty services and startup & commissioning works performed by Field Service Team, including all expenses in ERP before closing the order and generate EESS' internal invoices.
M. Generate purchase requisitions for tools, equipment, or subcontractors in ORACLE. Monitor al requisitions until its final reception by EESS department.
N. Accountable for the design and execution of timely, professional and effective RFP responses for EESS Central America business opportunities.
O. Responsible for the management of the entire proposal process, to include all identification and coordination of participating Eaton technical subject matter experts and trade-contractors.
P. Responsibilities will include de-constructing requests for proposals, completing the response from start to finish, including gap analysis, gap assignment, overall content, presentation, risk analysis, senior management approval, contracts analysis, production and follow-up activities.
Q. To comply with the responsibilities of the position in relation with Safety and Health, Lean as well as SAA (Environmental Administration) and SGC (Quality System).

Qualifications:

Education level required / Nivel educativo requerido

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Years and area of experience / Años y área de experiencia requerida

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with experience in Engineering Service environment, ERP management and writing technical proposals

Technical knowledge / Conocimientos técnicos

  • Windows Advanced: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Power point
  • Autocad, SAP and Power BI tool desired

Soft skills / Habilidades blandas

  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks and leads the tasks of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and attitude is expected.
  • Team work and negotiations skills.
