Account Operations Specialist

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Account Operations Specialist. This is a remote based position; however; preference will be given to those living in the Peachtree City GA and Mooresville NC area.

The Account Operations Specialist will work in partnership with the National Account Managers to proactively manage the sales, orders, and profit potential of the assigned Retail accounts with the objective of maximizing sales, profitability and distribution. In this role, you will assist the team to optimize business performance in order to achieve company goals (including - sales, profit, new item listings and deduction management), work with a multi-functional team covering all aspects of the need to deliver profitable volume.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:

In this role:

  • Collaborate with Account Team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics that align with key financial targets
  • Manage and communicate daily customer order receipts in collaboration with Customer Service and Supply Chain counterparts
  • Provide special order support to customer and territory sales team for assigned customer account
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support data-driven decision-making
  • Streamline and optimize sales operations processes, tools, and systems for maximum efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and customer care, to support sales initiatives
  • Manage relationship between Eaton demand planning and customer IPR team to align on forecast accuracy, identify exceptions and opportunities to drive target +98% service levels
  • Partner with marketing counterparts to develop marketing, promotions and training content
  • Support in the creation and delivery of customer presentations to achieve incremental opportunities and developing strategic business partnerships
  • Monitor compliance metrics to validate performance levels, submit disputes, identify corrective actions and partner with Finance to ensure rebates are correctly applied

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in product sales, account management or operational support roles
  • Must be able to travel 25% domestically
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience working with SAP and Bidmanager
  • Prior experience working with big box retail customers in the home center segments, specifically in the electrical wiring devices and/or switchgear categories
