Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Finishing Load / Unload in our Sherman, TX facility. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm-11:00pm. The rate for this position is $18.15 per hour plus a $.60 shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
In this function, you will:
- Perform visual inspections of material prior to and after painting.
- Perform miscellaneous related assignments, such as masking, wrapping, touch-up painting, etc.
- Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
- Perform 5S & continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Sherman, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with powder painting
- Experience in a production environment
Skills:
Position Success Criteria:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending with or without accommodation.
- Ability to stand for eight hours plus and perform repetitious tasks
- Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and be detail-oriented
- Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
- Ability to reach, grasp, and manipulate
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, as needed by the business
