Team Overview:
Dun & Bradstreet is looking for a Senior QA Tester to join our Distribution Technology team. You will be part of a group responsible for the design, creation and execution of tests to identify issues with software before production deployments, for identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review after. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results and collaborating with Software Engineers to fix program issues.

The Role:
As a Senior QA Tester in the Distribution Technology team you will join a team of brilliant, friendly and energetic solutions architects, developers, QA engineers and Project Managers who strive to deliver best in class custom solutions to our customers. This is a hands-on testing role that requires excellent testing, organizational and communication skills. Are you someone that can thrive in a high energy, high growth, fast paced environment? Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements and design, build and execute test cases to assure the quality of the application under test.
• Collaborate with developers to deploy and test custom solutions in AWS.
• Load, manage and track test cases in our test management tool JIRA.
• Provide detailed, statistic-based status reports.
• Develop and execute various types of tests including functional, system, integration, end-to-end, black box, regression, API and batch testing.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows
• Extensive experience in Web Services (SOAP, REST)
• Extensive experience with Big Data testing
• Expertise with ETL concepts and testing
• Previous working experience with Commercial Business Data is a plus
• Experience with BDD/TDD testing practices.
• Experience with Agile methodology and the ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.
• Interact with a diverse group of technologists and business team members including offshore team members.
• Coordinate and work with globally distributed teams

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar work experience
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or development, technical project experience, testing through a full system development life cycle.
• Experience with business user acceptance testing.
• Experience using test management software, JIRA knowledge preferred.
• Good knowledge of SQL and other data retrieval methods.
• Good knowledge of AWS Services, Tools and best practices.
• Good knowledge of Web Technologies (JSON, REST, SOAP)
• Experience with testing web-based products with tools such as Parasoft SOATest, SoapUI, Tomcat, Postman
• Experience analyzing project requirements and ability to create test strategy, test plan and test cases.
• Ability to lead all test related meetings with all levels of staff.
• Ability to work independently, and as a team player, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and clearly document issues.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have the ability and desire to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
