The impact you will have in this role:

The Technology Investment Strategy team is tasked with implementing and managing a Service and Portfolio Governance framework for all Technology Products and Services, and ensuring the technology budget is invested into the right areas to ensure the long-term success of our strategic objectives. The team achieves these objectives by partnering with IT leaders across the enterprise to understand their specific internal and external needs, and then align those to the strategic needs of the organization.

The Strategic Vendor Governance team, within the Technology Investment Management function, focuses on Vendor Management practices to ensure better outcomes out of our vendor contracts, while increasing accountability for our vendor partnerships and will support the function by producing and publishing vendor scorecards.

This role will partner with our IT stakeholders and IT Executive Sponsors, Corporate Procurement Services, Finance, and Third-Party Risk Management; develop and report on metrics to help manage vendor performance and drive increased IT vendor accountability.

The ability to be flexible, and focused under pressure, all while managing multiple deliverables within rigid target delivery dates are fundamental skills required to be successful in this role. Must be highly organized and detail oriented; strong written and verbal communication skills are required; must be comfortable presenting to leadership and interacting with senior management and driving conversations .

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Understands key metrics and acts as a business analyst between the Product Manager and Developers with ability to convert high level business requirements into executable, detailed user stories to enable development in the IT Vendor Metrics dashboard
  • Ownership of the IT vendor metrics dashboard and reference guide, ensuring governance for existing metrics and drive the creation of future state metrics and automation
  • Management in the delivery of an accurate and complete dashboard in accordance of the agreed upon cadence, including key insights and can address any inquiries presented for review/critical issue.
  • Strong relationship/networking skills to build network with key collaborators across the organization and with key vendor contacts.
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
  • Support standard monthly reporting with focus on oversight and final delivery of the written portions of the report, ensuring a high level of quality output.
  • Support development of new reports and presentations, using thought leadership in communication and report styles.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills as well as strong organizational and data management skills
  • Work collaboratively by building consensus and influencing decision making to foster forward progress with projects
  • Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel knowledge and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in delivering outputs
  • Working knowledge of Power Apps a plus
  • Project Management Skills
  • Agile Approach - ability to multi-task and attention to detail is a must
