The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Technology Vendor Management function, you will focused on setting the standard on Vendor Management practices to ensure better outcomes out of our vendor contracts, while increasing accountability for our vendor partnerships.

Partner with CPS to develop strategic models for our Professional Services vendors, and then support IT managers in aligning their work to that model.

The goal is to ensure vendor Management is not a team, but rather a subject area that the entire organization accepts.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • This position will be a key point of contact to support developing strategic models for our Professional Services vendors
  • Support IT managers in aligning their work to this strategic model
  • Support IT managers to choose the right type of professional services contract, for their specific business needs
  • Identify key metrics / KPIs / SLAs to include in our associated vendor contracts
  • Support building out a metrics scorecard to measure vendor performance
  • Build reporting and the associated routines to ensure compliance with our sourcing policies
  • Capturing metrics / KPI's / SLA's to include in vendor contracts
  • Supporting managers to choose the right type of professional services contract, for their specific business needs
  • Operationalize a metric driven process for measuring vendor performance
  • Build routines to ensure IT is compliance with our sourcing and purchasing policies

NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Strategic approach to be able to inspire change and support the advancement our Vendor Management practices
  • Ability to easily navigate large data sets, and be able to identify trends, issues, and opportunity areas quickly and efficiently
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills as well as strong organizational and data management skills
  • Agile Attitude: ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively by building consensus and influencing decision making
