The impact you will have in this role:

The Security Engineer will focus on leading innovative identity lifecycle management initiatives, managing a team of developers and ensuring the delivery of robust Cyber and IAM solutions. This role requires advanced knowledge in programming, vendor management, strategic alignment across Cyber initiatives and a strong passion for technology.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine strategic direction for the department, ensuring alignment with DTCC's overall business objectives
  • Manage DTCC's products across various environments, ensuring availability, scalability and stability
  • Work in tandem with engineering teams to enhance DTCC's products and solutions, advocating for features that address evolving security needs and improve customer experience
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their challenges and requirements, acting as an advocate within the organization to ensure our solutions meet their needs
  • Assist in overseeing departmental processes to ensure operational efficiency and quality, supporting the implementation of management best practices
  • Participate in maintaining compliance with industry standards and security best practices and play an active role in security incident response planning and execution
  • Assist with budget management and resource planning for the department, supporting the management of vendor relationships and technology investments

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience


Talents Needed For Success:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner specializing in the Identity space
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven ability to successfully define and deliver quality products in line with the company strategy, as well as meeting business objectives and budget targets
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple teams providing all relevant deliverables to ensure a seamless product launch
  • Translate product strategy and key customer and market requests into a business case with detailed product requirements
  • Familiar with Identity protocol: OIDC, OAuth, and SAML; Step Up authentication technologies, standards, frameworks, and trends (FIDO, OAuth Step Up standard, Passwordless login); CIAM/IAM systems and their architecture
  • Ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. Experience working with senior partners from Marketing, CS, Sales, BD, R&D, as well as C-suite executives
