The impact you will have in this role:
The Center of Excellence Advisor is a key role responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, and leadership to our Center of Excellence. The Advisor will work closely with CoE team members and partners across the organization to promote best practices, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the CoE's strategic objectives are met.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Collaborate with CoE leadership to define and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the CoE and across the organization
- Advise on the development and refinement of CoE services and offerings
- Monitor industry trends and developments to keep the CoE at the forefront of its area of focus
- Assist in the development of training and professional development programs for CoE members
- Serve as a liaison between the CoE and other organizational units, fostering cross-functional collaboration
- Provide mentorship and coaching to CoE team members
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of tools, technologies, and resources
- Assist in the management of CoE projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives

Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Talents Needed For Success:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within IT governance, with a proven track record of driving process improvement and leading multidisciplinary teams
- Expertise in the principles and practices of IT governance, with the ability to develop and communicate strategic direction to partners at all levels, including senior management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship within a Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Skilled in translating IT governance frameworks and best practices into comprehensive, actionable business plans that align with organizational objectives
- Proficient in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and demonstrating agility in adapting to evolving IT governance landscapes and industry trends
- Experience in the development and implementation of training and professional development programs for IT governance professionals
- Ability to serve as a liaison and foster cross-functional collaboration between the CoE and other organizational units
- Adept at evaluating and selecting appropriate tools, technologies, and resources to support the success and continuous improvement of the CoE's services and offerings
