The Impact you will have in this role:
Operational & Technology Risk Management (OTR) is responsible for setting strategic direction in the areas of IT Risk and Information Security. Maintains corporate security policies and control standards, acts as a second line of defense via a robust collection of risk and control assessments, reports to leadership and the Board on the status of the IT Risk and Information Security Programs, acts as an operational arm for monitoring threat intelligence, understanding when threats are being targeted against the firm, and responding to potential incidents, and serves as the main interface for Regulatory and Client reviews that focus on IT Risk and Information Security Cyber Security Design Oversight is responsible for providing highly advanced technical and analytical skills to the Technology Risk Management (Information Security) Office by ensuring project teams adhere to security control standards and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Effectively manages portfolios of multiple cloud-based cyber and risk applications.
- Leads partner and end-user requirement sessions to gather feedback and new requirements for enhancing the suite of applications.
- Designs and implements API and service-based connections and integrations across various technology types.
- Conducts code reviews on Python-based cloud applications.
- Conceptualizes and designs cyber and risk cloud-based applications using AWS services and Python.
- Writes efficient, reusable, and testable Python code.
- Collaborates with multi-functional teams, including front-end developers, to design and implement software features.
- Debugs and resolves software defects.
- Work alongside cyber innovation teams to test and create proof of concepts across DLT/Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security backed technologies.
- Optimizes application performance and ensures scalability.
- Liaises across multiple teams responsible for Quality Assurance Testing and Organizational Change to ensure thorough and timely releases.
- Ensures technical quality of security-focused results and adherence to security standards, governance, and control practices with project teams.
- Provides domain expert advice to Cyber Security Design Oversight members, multi-functional application development teams, various councils and committees, and architecture roundtable meetings.
- Drives projects and development initiatives for delivering internally built tools for automating processes and delivering security/compliance tools across the company.
- Defines, publishes, and maintains software and processes for security governance (i.e., compliance with principles, guidelines, and standards).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
