The impact you will have in this role:

We're looking for an energetic, creative-minded, and self-motivated Director, Business Marketing who loves to develop persona-led stories and implement integrated, multi-channel programs, to play a key role in our dynamic and evolving team of dedicated marketers and help us take our programs to the next level of success by applying digital marketing and content development savvy to increase awareness of our solutions and drive sales leads. Financial services experience a plus.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic omni-channel marketing programs for DTCC Businesses, working directly with the business teams, sales, relationship management, and other key collaborators to translate business goals into strategic, measurable marketing goals. Develop campaigns to address specific program objectives including Awareness & Education, Thought Leadership, Product Launch, Client Adoption and Lead Generation.
  • Act as a true 'business partner' and participate in strategic discussions with senior management / business leads to support overall business objectives.
  • Responsible for content marketing and thought leadership program, with a strong ability to synthesize information from Business SMEs into both short- and long-form written and digital content partnering with the Communications team and third parties.
  • Responsible for client adoption and lead generation programs, collaborating with Sales/Relationship Management and Product Management to ensure alignment on all client outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinates with larger M&C team to ensure brand alignment and execution support across all areas of the marketing mix, including our inhouse design team, production, PR, Comms and events teams.
  • Target market persona development and making strategic recommendations around personalization using marketing automation.
  • Understands market drivers, competitive landscape and target clients and maintains detailed, updated knowledge of relevant DTCC products and services, especially as it relates to their assigned portfolio of businesses.
  • Lead, develop and effectively manage/mentor team members across subject areas and locations as needed.
  • Manage external vendor relationships as appropriate and efficiently track marketing spend as well as marketing ROI/metrics.
  • Partners with regional marketing counterparts to provide direction on product marketing and demand generation initiatives by region.
  • Uses data and analytics to track campaign and content performance and recalibrate activities as needed.
  • Project management skills including planning and scheduling, issue identification/resolution/escalation, communication.
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Talents Needed For Success:
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Strong understanding of financial services
  • Previous working knowledge of Marketo would be highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across different functions.
  • Vision, creativity, presence, and credibility. A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality
  • Ability to strategize with business leads/executives on an ongoing basis to consistently advise marketing and communication plans; needs to be comfortable acting in both a strategic and tactical manner (roll up your sleeves mentality)
  • Ability to influence others through strong communication skills.
