The Impact you will have in this role:

The DTCC Consulting Services Associate Director will be responsible for unparalleled client service, relationship development to drive sales, client programme delivery, managing delivery teams, contributing to the growth strategy for the Consulting Services business and supporting the development of the consulting practice from a people development and wellbeing perspective. Consulting experience in delivering client change across buy-sides or sell-sides with strong subject matter expertise in Securities or Regulatory Reporting is a must.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage high-impact consulting projects for financial services clients, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Manage and administer projects, including budget and staff management, and managing day-to-day client relationships.
  • Assess client operating models, identifying gaps, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for compliance and operational effectiveness as they relate to regulatory reporting and securities services rules and developments.
  • Present at industry conferences, roundtables, and forums.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, demonstrating gravitas and influencing key decisions.
  • Engage and lead in go-to-market and business development efforts including the preparation of proposals for prospective clients as well as provide subject matter expertise.
  • Support with solutioning projects with the right mix of levels in order to deliver to a high standard whilst growing profitable business.
  • Promote the growth of the business by sharing knowledge and experience, and the development of engagement tools, enablers, and other knowledge assets to build capability for the service.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Champion inclusion by creating an inclusive environment and leading diversity initiatives.
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience which can be a combination of financial services and consulting but must include at least 4 years of consulting experience at a senior manager or manager level. Subject matter expertise in either the regulatory reporting (refits/rewrites/MiFID lll, etc.) or securities services (post-trade efficiency, data flows, trade lifecycle etc.) preferred.
  • Experience working with executive and/or business leadership to manage expectations on engagements and build credibility for our services. Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resiliency and the professional bearing required of a DTCC client service professional.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to generate follow-on work during client engagements by understanding a range of services and offerings and coordinating with personnel within DTCC to help sell integrated solutions that meet client needs.
  • Ability to travel as required.
