About the Role:
The Product Analyst, Search owns the success and quality of search platform products within the B2B products portfolio, a growing product portfolio area of strategic importance to Dow Jones. This role requires strong collaboration skills to work across the business to ensure that existing products are fully understood and any improvements to existing products and new products are driven by customer success. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, heads-down data analysis, excellent communication skills, and talent for coordinating all the elements needed to release high quality products. This role is part of the B2B Search Platform Product Management team and reports to the Senior Director of Product Management for Search. It is a hybrid role based in our Barcelona office.
You Will:
- Define product requirements and create user stories in collaboration with Product Management, Engineering and UX teams.
- Lead product qualitative and methodical evaluation testing including test design, training, results analysis, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Monitor the usage of all products within your portfolio and identify and deliver strategies to drive engagement and usage.
You Have:
- 1 to 3 years of experience working in a product, QA, analyst or customer support role for search based products, preferably in a B2B context.
- 1 to 3 years of experience evaluating software products using mixed methods.
- Prior product development or support experience with search engines and/or recommender systems strongly preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working on search-based products in a platform delivery environment.
