As part of the global Marketing organization, the B2B Enterprise Marketing team is responsible for driving business growth in partnership with the product and sales teams of our enterprise businesses: Dow Jones Newswires, Factiva, and Risk & Compliance. The team runs a client centric approach focused on industries and accounts developing and activating strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, build our reputation and deepen relationships in these select industries and accounts.

About the Role:

In this role, you will guide, craft and maintain our voice and tone. Your work will help connect to and communicate with decision makers and users through storytelling, compelling marketing communications, and digital and physical brand experiences. You will create a range of deliverables (e.g.,advertising headlines, social content, video scripts, content copy). You will collaborate with a diverse set of specialists from brand strategists, industry/ABM marketers, content strategists, and digital marketers to inform and bring the writing to life. The content you help to create will enrich the experience and boost engagement across web, chat bots, social, paid media and events. The objective is to drive awareness of Dow Jones' expertise and capabilities, position the company as a trusted partner of choice for enterprise business insights, and drive engagement across decision makers in select accounts. We are shifting to this new industry and account focused model and you will be part of this exciting transformation. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and collaborative Copywriter to support our strategic content initiatives globally.

This role is based in-person in New York, NY, working on-site in our midtown Manhattan office three days a week, reporting to our VP of B2B Digital Marketing.

You Will:
  • In partnership with the Industry/ABM, Product, Proposition and Digital Marketing teams, produce compelling messaging and content assets (ie, articles, white papers, case studies, webinars, demos, etc.) that support the business' objectives, desired identity and build awareness and engagement.
  • Bring creative thinking and copywriting to the full cycle of brand experience projects, from concept to delivery, across touchpoints from campaigns, to social media, to web, to events.
  • Collaborate with our Content, Social Media and Paid Media teams to craft copy that resonates with our target audiences
  • Write headlines, concise well structured body copy, equal comfort with long and short form copywriting, leveraging SEO best practices and tools to improve performance
  • Demonstrate empathy and creative flexibility to adapt to the regional cultural differences of a global audience and partner with the regional teams.
  • Safeguard quality, brand tone of voice and style across all channels and materials.
  • Use web analytics and performance insights to refine copy and content strategies
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and what competitors are doing.

You Have:
  • 2-4 years in a B2B copywriting in-house/in-agency marketing writing for Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Experience crafting content that is understood by all audiences
  • Experience collaborating with Web teams, SEO, Social Media and Paid Media to develop content that is SEO optimized and is engaging across digital mediums is a plus
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills with a strong command of the English language, as well as the ability to write for a global audience. Basic understanding of The Associated Press Stylebook is a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to multitask, prioritize, manage stakeholders at all levels across the business and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset, curious, continuously exploring better ways to engage customers through high value content

Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000
