About the Role
As the Technical Program Manager for Operations at DoorDash Labs you will play a central role within the robot operations team at DoorDash Labs as we scale and optimize last-mile deliveries using autonomy.
You will report to the manager of our growing Technical Program Management team and will interface with operations, hardware, service, software, autonomy, safety and testing teams on a daily basis. This role is a hybrid role and requires being on site at our Oakland facility 1-2 days per week, as well as occasional travel to our non-SF Bay Area locations.

- Champion a culture of safety and drive initiatives with safety in mind at all times
- Manage vendor relationships for fleet logistics, service and repairs
- Work with team members across DD Labs to follow up and resolve issues
We're excited about you because you have...
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of industry experience working in technical program management, ideally in autonomy operations and/or fleet management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to details
- A track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and programs in a highly dynamic environment
- A proven ability to mine and use data to drive efficiency improvements
- The desire to embrace ambiguity and the ability to organize disparate ideas into a cohesive plan
- A working understanding of autonomy concepts and AV testing procedures
- Strong familiarity with program management tools, such as
- Jira
- Confluence
- Smartsheet/MS Project
- Google Workplace applications

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
