About the Role

As a senior product designer on the Merchant Experience & Integrity team, you will spearhead an exciting new initiative aimed at supporting merchants when issues arise. You'll delve into merchant journeys to identify creative solutions for their pain points, enhancing user satisfaction while also driving key business metrics. This role goes beyond designing pixels; you'll act as a domain owner, collaborating with cross-functional teams-including research, product, engineering, analytics, and business-to shape the team's vision and strategy.

Since this team is in its early stages, you'll have the unique opportunity to help build its culture and processes from the ground up. Success in this role requires balancing both high-level strategic planning and on-the-ground experimentation, seamlessly shifting between short-term tactical initiatives and long-term, transformational changes for our merchants.

You'll report to our Director of Design, Merchant Experience. This role is hybrid, working certain days a week onsite and the rest working from home.

  • Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and crafting visions
  • Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship your designs
  • Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
  • Create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Design and ship high-quality product improvements

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
