To further this mission, we're looking for an experienced marketer who will sit at the intersection of growth, product and operations, to develop integrated marketing strategies for our Merchant business at DoorDash.

About the Role

As the Senior Associate of CRM & Retention Marketing, you will help create communications and lifecycle programs to increase retention and engagement within the first party platform services line of business across key product surfaces. This role will focus on our efforts to drive adoption, onboarding and early success via creating awareness and education around operating seamlessly on DoorDash across a number of different initiatives by leveraging email, SMS, and push notifications. You will collaborate with all parts of the business to create and execute CRM campaigns that have a direct impact on the sales for and growth of our Merchant partners as well as the greater DoorDash business.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at highly strategic and tactical levels. You will have a track record of leveraging insights to build consensus with large cross-functional teams and of building trusted relationships with senior leaders.

This role reports into the Senior Manager, Head of B2B Retention Marketing in our Growth Marketing organization.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Create and execute retention strategies to activate, onboard, and educate Merchants throughout the early lifecycle.
  • Support end-to-end development and execution of cross-channel campaigns - from driving the creative and review process to building out and monitoring programs.
  • Support the strategy and framework for rapid testing in CRM channels.
  • Track primary metrics, develop benchmarks, and create and report progress out to org and senior leaders
  • Interface and day-to-day collaboration with S&O counterparts to develop overarching and initiative strategy(s), cross-functional leadership updates, and reporting on key initiatives and campaigns
  • Establish a strong working relationship with cross-functional stakeholders in our Product, Operations, Analytics, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Be an integral part of a fun-loving, hard-working, and fast-growing B2B Retention team.

We're excited about you because you have...

  • 4+ years experience in Retention Marketing, Email Marketing, Customer Engagement, or CRM Operations; B2B experience a plus (not a must!).
  • In-depth understanding of ESP/Marketing automation platforms (e.g. Iterable, Marketing Cloud, Braze, Hubspot) and historical experience deploying complex programs
  • An ability to synthesize data, make data-driven decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an intuition-driven bias to action
  • A proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong bias to action
  • A creative and collaborative inclination; you love working with a team and solving challenging problems in new ways
  • A track record of driving and measuring business success through marketing
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
