The Vendor Operations team is integral to driving efficiency and achieving key business outcomes through effective vendor partnerships, contract management, and performance monitoring.

About the Role

The Vendor Operations Project Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the intake, selection, and execution of vendor-managed projects (long or short-term). This role is responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to define project scope, determine staffing needs, establish budgets, and align with OKRs. The successful candidate will work closely with vendors to select the best-fit partner for each project and ensure key results (KRs) are met. Additionally, the Project Supervisor will stand up processes and manage staffing levels for vendor teams, ensuring the smooth delivery and success of each project.

  • Participate in the quarterly intake of new projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand the full scope, including project requirements, staffing needs, budget, and performance OKRs.
  • Work closely with vendors to evaluate and select a vendor for each assigned project based on project scope and resource availability.
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring KRs are defined, tracked, and achieved in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stand up processes for newly onboarded vendor teams, establishing workflows, communication channels, and tools to ensure operational excellence.
  • Supervise the staffing and resource allocation for vendor-managed projects, ensuring vendors have the necessary team to meet project demands.
  • Provide ongoing support and management to vendors throughout the project, troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, generating reports on project status, performance, and vendor efficiency.
  • Ensure budget compliance and manage financial tracking for vendor projects, adjusting forecasts as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring continuous improvement in their delivery and adherence to contract terms.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, making recommendations to enhance vendor performance and project outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience with budget management and resource planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to monitor performance against established OKRs and KRs.
  • Ability to lead and stand up processes with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software; experience with Google Sheets and/or SQL is a plus.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
