About the Team
The International New Verticals team is all about expanding DoorDash beyond Restaurants in International markets, and helping deliver anything our Customers want. Our International Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics team has three major mandates to effectively onboard merchants, fulfill every order with speed & accuracy and improve our logistics network. We are able to do this by identifying efficiencies, building product toolings and launching operational processes at scale. You will own metrics and pull operational levers to drive impactful results across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail international businesses.
About the Role
We are looking for a Specialist to support our Canadian International New Verticals Strategy & Operations (S&O) team with a focus on Quality. As a specialist on this team, you will be responsible for supporting our grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail marketplace operations and customer quality improvements. In this role, you will run daily and weekly audits across a variety of metrics, deep dive into quality issues to help root cause and identify opportunities for improvement. Daily tasks consist of reviewing item level data, store setup configurations, order-level data, conducting sub-scale experiments, onsite testing, and Dasher/Merchant outreach. Your north star is ensuring that customers receive their order better than they could have shopped for themselves.

You will report into the Canada New Verticals Senior Associate, Catalog & Quality.
The role is traditionally Mon-Fri regular hours, however there may be some occasional holiday/weekend work required to support key initiatives (Holiday/Penalty rates will apply). In this case, requirements will be communicated in advance.

- Execute - Support execution across key quality initiatives, including comprehensive catalog audits, store setup configuration checks, order-level audits and subscale in-app and out-of-app experiments to improve customer quality.
- Build - Implement scalable initiatives and best practices to improve quality across the New Verticals business in Canada.
- Analyze - Leverage data whenever possible to inform your hypothesis as well as build models using tools like Excel and SQL to evaluate the strategic costs and benefits of various programs and experiments.

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Nice to haves :
- Bilingual (French/English) fluency is a strong plus
- Experience working in a fact-paced tech environment
Compensation
Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within British Columbia.
$21.15-$26.45 CAD
