About the Role

The B2B Integrated Marketing team is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and data-driven marketer to grow DoorDash's Marketplace. This role will report into the Marketplace Integrated Marketing lead and will own overall marketing strategy and goals designed to drive successful onboarding and early success across our newly acquired small-and-medium (SMB) restaurants. This marketer will build out our integrated strategies, including new channel expansion, designed to unlock incremental revenue for our SMB restaurants on the US Marketplace.

We're looking for someone with a proven track record of being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, strong bias-to-action, and entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate will be able to think big picture and paint a long-term vision one moment, and seamlessly transition to diving into the weeds across performance marketing, analytics, product, operations and creative the next.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Drive the strategic planning, vision, and strategy for onboarding and early merchant success, including identifying new marketing levers to test, scaling to new marketing channels, and providing recommendations on how to improve end-to-end merchant experience across marketing touchpoints
  • Lead the end to end execution of testing and launching new integrated marketing strategies-from merchant research to setting goals to securing budget to briefing creatives to launching / optimizing to reporting out on impact and everything in between
  • Communicate with cross-functional partners and senior leadership on the status and progress of initiatives, how the team is tracking towards goals, and proactively identify / flag risks as well as mitigation strategies.
  • Create and manage project timelines to ensure all team members have a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities as well as next steps
  • Act as the "general manager" within the marketing org to ensure plans are developed in a unified cohesive manner and executed in close collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders (strategy + operations, finance, product, analytics, engineering, etc)

We're excited about you because you have...

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA a plus
  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably with a mix of performance, retention, product marketing, and / or integrated marketing with experience of managing different marketing channel strategies
  • Experience working with SMB Restaurants and/or SMB businesses is a plus
  • The ability to think about the business like a GM, drive forward highly cross-functional projects like a product manager, and understand how to speak to our consumer like a seasoned marketer.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills and are able to organize critical info both to senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience sifting through a detailed analysis and synthesizing the key points to make data-driven decisions, while still having a strong bias for action and being able leverage your intuition when you don't have all the data you might need.
  • A creative and entrepreneurial mindset - you enjoy tackling unsolved problems, building, and finding creative solutions with limited resources.
  • A love for collaborating and working on a team with extensive cross-functional experience partnering with groups across marketing (CRM, paid media, creative, etc), analytics, product, etc.

Why You'll Love Working at DoorDash because...

  • We are leaders - Leadership is not limited to our management team. It's something everyone at DoorDash embraces and embodies.
  • We are doers - We believe the only way to predict the future is to build it. Creating solutions that will lead our company and our industry is what we do -- on every project, every day.

  • We are customer-obsessed - Our mission is to grow and empower local economies. We are committed to our customers, merchants, and dashers and believe in connecting people with possibility.
