We're looking for a Copy Lead to oversee messaging for a new growth function within Superette, the Creative Studio at DoorDash. Leading a dedicated team of two copywriters, you'll manage the development of world-class copy that drives conversion for the business across various channels and elevates our established brand voice. You'll report into the Senior Creative Lead, Copy on the Superette team within our Marketing organization.

We're excited about you because you have...
- 8+ years of copywriting experience with a focus on growth or performance marketing
- Experience managing and coaching a team of full time or freelance writers
- Strong background in writing across various growth channels, including ads, acquisition and retention emails, paid and organic social, and more
- Effective communication and the ability to deliver respectful, constructive feedback
- An impressive portfolio highlighting a range of work, from snappy headlines to precise informational copy
- Proven ability to leverage data and insights to improve performance through testing
- Energetic self-starter adept at handling various projects while consistently delivering exceptional work
- Clear understanding of diverse audience segments and how to tailor messaging
- Ability to communicate strategic copy decisions with cross-functional stakeholders
- A keen eye for design and a grasp of how art and copy come together
- Expert-level knowledge of grammar and punctuation, with experience editing and refining others' work
- Excellent presentation skills, both internally and partner-facing
- Experience within highly ambitious, agile teams

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
