About the Team

Our Ads team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core Advertiser and Consumer audiences. On the Ads New Ventures team, our mission is to design, test, launch, and scale new business lines + products to help Advertisers & Consumers thrive on the platform.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly-motivated individual to join our Ads New Ventures team as an Ad Operations Associate. In this role, you will work closely with both internal and external teams to set up, launch, and report on advertiser funded offsite ads campaigns primarily within the CPG space.

  • Manage end to end campaign ops process across social & programmatic digital marketing channels (including but not limited to Google, Meta, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Provide campaign optimization & budget recommendations
  • Troubleshoot setup, tracking, and trafficking discrepancies in ongoing campaigns.
  • Work with the sales team to develop launch plans for advertiser investment
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to streamline campaign setup & ensure accurate & on time campaign launches.
  • Partner with the internal Marketing and Data Science teams to ensure accurate tracking & reporting of offsite media.

  • Ensure efficiency and accuracy in campaign setup & optimization.
  • Drive analysis to support data-driven decision-making and improve performance for our advertisers and DoorDash.
  • Develop deep expertise in data, operating at the lowest level of detail to ensure efficient marketing spend deployment.
  • Create templatized creative assets to enable advertisers to highlight their brands at scale.
  • Manage the first party DoorDash audience & tracking network used on our digital marketing platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive impact for DoorDash.
  • Communicate effectively to stakeholders and prioritize across multiple projects.

We're excited about you because...

  • You have 1-2 years of experience as an analyst or marketer in an advertising agency, ecommerce, consumer brand or tech company.
  • You have experience trafficking end to end digital media campaigns (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok) including campaign setup, QA, tracking, & reporting.
  • You are comfortable writing ad copy & may have even built ad creative in the past
  • You are able to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an empathetic, intuition-based mindset.
  • You focus on getting stuff done and aren't afraid to dive into the details.
  • Thrive in a self-starter, fast paced and changing environment
  • You are proficient in the English language (C1+ proficiency) and are able to communicate clearly and concisely.
