Dolby's consumer entertainment and cinema businesses are bringing Dolby's breakthrough technologies, powering the world's top movies, TV shows, music, games, and live sports to more places around the world across a wider range of consumer experiences and devices.

Dolby is seeking a strategic leader to drive audio and video innovations for premium video streaming services. This role is responsible for developing Dolby's value propositions for streaming service providers, shaping go-to-market strategies, and fostering ecosystem growth. The position reports to the VP, AV Ecosystem within Dolby's Consumer Entertainment business.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the success of Dolby's OTT business, enabling premium streaming experiences with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Dolby AC-4, and other Dolby technologies.
  • Analyze and segment the global OTT market, and identify unmet needs and challenges of service providers that Dolby can address.
  • Stay informed about industry and consumer trends, deriving insights relevant to Dolby's OTT market strategy.
  • Develop and refine value propositions for service operators, their audiences, and other key stakeholders.
  • Position Dolby's offerings effectively within the competitive landscape.
  • Design and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies for the OTT business, defining key milestones and ensuring organizational alignment.
  • Collaborate with product managers to optimize content creation, distribution, and device solutions that enhance entertainment experiences.
  • Establish a framework for prioritizing customers, identifying key GTM partners, and supporting the Commercial Partnerships team in pipeline management.
  • Develop sales enablement tools that effectively communicate Dolby's brand and value propositions.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine GTM strategies based on performance insights.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in the video streaming industry.
  • Deep knowledge of global streaming service provider needs and the related technology ecosystem.
  • Proven experience bringing multiple products or services to market, including value proposition development and validation.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate them effectively.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000 - $227,000, which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
