We seek a self-starter, forward-thinking person with a strong technical recruiting background to come join the team and be part of something big! Play a key role in the continued growth of Dolby's new R&D Centre in Bangalore, with a focus on hiring top Research talent in the areas of AI, Computer Vision and ML/Data Platform.
This role will be located in Bangalore and will report to the Sr Manager Recruiting APAC based in Australia.
What you will do:
- Full life-cycle recruiting complex technical roles
- Partnering with hiring Managers to understand their teams' hiring needs and team dynamics.
- Act as a consultant in hiring processes
- Identify, engage and secure top hardworking candidates (both passive and active).
- Develop sourcing strategies and research methods that are successful in attracting viable candidates for each specific requisition
- Be the search expert for functional areas by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements
- Work closely with recruiting coordinators to move candidates through the interview process as smoothly and quickly as possible
- Negotiate potential offers and successfully close candidates
- Provide excellent customer service to our hiring teams and ensure a seamless candidate experience for all potential candidates.
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience.
- Full life-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-pace, high volume productive environment.
- Recruiting experience should include hiring a diverse set of technical roles including Researchers, Software Engineers and/or IT professionals
- Recruiting PHD graduates from Tier 1 universities - (IIT, IIIT Etc.)
- Experience in Recruiting in cutting edge technical areas, including AI, Computer Vision and Machine Learning/Data Platform.
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Great background in using innovative research & sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and "hard to fill" roles.
- Solid experience in partnering effectively with all types of teams and levels of professionals.
- Exceptional closing and negotiation skills
