Based in Beijing, the Senior Marketing Specialist reports into the Director, PR / Social / Digital, and works closely with the China Marketing team and global social teams as well as multiple business teams in China and at the Headquarters. In this role, you will continue to learn, hone in on and expand your skills in social media. You will have the opportunity to help further shape Dolby's social presence in China and help manage the journey that drives customers through this ecosystem.

You will work closely with senior staff members both in China and globally, in planning, analyzing and evaluating information for social programs. Your work will join you with a great team for larger projects, but you'll also need to work independently to exercise your skills of independent judgment to successfully complete tasks.
Essential Job Functions:
- Impact results by managing the Dolby-owned Chinese social channels for Dolby-led storytelling and joint programs with partners in China
- Develop and execute social programs and campaigns to support all Dolby businesses across China
- Plan for and develop creative social content to tell compelling Dolby stories to consumers and the industry through support from agencies
- Collaborate with Dolby's global social teams to extend Dolby's stories in China to overseas
- Conduct on-going social listening to help provide insight into key trends in social and competitors' social programs and campaigns
- Participle in brainstorming, strategy and planning sessions
- Help deliver plans and reports
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 5-7 years of related experience
- Strong skills in managing corporate social accounts in China
- Experience in social, PR, or marketing
- Excellent sense in creative content both text and visual
- Excellent English skills, both speaking and writing
- Combined experience of in-house and agency is a plus
- Intellectual curiosity
- Social media savvy
- Skills and experience in short video production is a plus
- Ability to explain complex ideas simply and concisely
- Storytelling chops - know how to tell an irresistible story
- Interest in consumer technology and/or the entertainment industry including movies and TV, games, and/or music is a major plus
- Experience in multi-national companies is a plus
