JOBSUMMARY
The Consumer Entertainment Team seeks the next generation of passionate individuals todriveexcellence across Dolby's digital touchpoints. Thisinternship will focuson supporting various projects and initiatives across the development and execution of Dolby's content and distribution strategy that sees Dolby Atmos proliferate across various content categories (music, podcasts, audiobooks). The ideal candidate for this role follows the latest media trends and is interested in the entertainment industry's evolution. An interest in music, podcasts, and/or audiobooks is preferred but not a must. An openness to learning about Dolby technologies at a high level is a must. The right person for this role must demonstrate an ability to think holistically, be detail-oriented, and consider all aspects of the task or responsibility they've been given.Collaboration and communication skills are critical, as the team's success is hinged on our ability to workwithinternalcross-functionalteams to achieve our goals.
This role will focus on:
- Understand Dolby's technologies and their application to different entertainment categories (specifically music, podcasts, and audiobooks) across endpoints (i.e., consumer devices).
- Analysis of entertainment and media market trends, news, and opportunities supporting the expansion of content in Dolby Atmos
- Support execution of global go-to-market strategies, including internal
- Assist in the development of sales enablement materials andinternal market research presentations.
- Support proactive internal communication between this group and global music and podcast teams, commercial partnerships, and marketing.
- Drive specific projects and podcast creator-driven initiatives for Dolby Atmos Podcasts.
- Track entertainment partners globally across streaming services, music, and podcasts
- Support entertainment industry events, including virtual and in-person events
- The ideal candidate is passionate about music, podcasts, and/or audiobooks and keeps their finger on the pulse of the latest trends and news.
- Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- A willingness to learn about Dolby technologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to represent Dolby professionally and interface at all internal and external levels.
- Ability to frame problems and solution options.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize work and work to deadlines.
ELIGIBILITY
Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 6 months between May/June 2025 - December 2025.
