Summary Description

In this role, you will be responsible for SCCM as a subject matter expert for Windows operating systems and knowledgeable of JAMF that manages Apple Endpoint systems, processes, and services for Dolby with a high focus on maintaining the stability, security, and productivity of corporate endpoint systems and endpoint infrastructure. You will be responsible for performing research, conducting assessments, recommending solutions, and implementing enhancements to the corporate endpoint systems and endpoint infrastructure environments. You will maintain, administer, and troubleshoot high level endpoint issues related to (but not limited to) endpoint technologies, network, endpoint systems, endpoint backups and MS Office suite on a day-to-day basis. Provides technical consultation to support staff and to business stakeholders on their initiatives. You will also be taking on a role to delivering global projects or provide support to other projects. This position reports directly to the Manager, Endpoint Engineering, located in the US

Essential Job Functions

Technical areas of responsibility include the maintenance and support of:
  • Knowledgeable of Endpoint management tools SCCM, and JAMF Pro.
  • Expert knowledge in Intune.
  • Expert knowledge with Autopilot.
  • Windows endpoint hardware administration
  • Operating systems administration (Windows, macOS)
  • Administrative services, ticket management, and operations maintenance (Service-Now)
  • Endpoint backup and recovery tools (Code42 or knowledgeable with endpoint backup solutions)
  • Endpoint Network Administration LAN, WAN, wireless, and remote access, as well as certificate deployments and maintenance
  • Active Directory tool DRA (Users, Computers)
  • User account administration tools
  • Security applications, configurations, and processes
Core Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain SCCM systems, software deployment, and images
  • Provide level 3 IT support for our users and level 2 IT staff while adhering to SLAs
  • Work directly with vendor's support for problem resolution and root cause analysis when needed
  • Implement and maintain endpoint IT infrastructure technology standards for Windows, endpoint backup solutions.
  • Support the roadmap for team projects focused on rolling out new endpoint solutions and enhancing our endpoint management infrastructure
  • Operationalize and transition improvements of IT endpoint services to IT field operations to satisfy corporate customers' needs.
  • Project manage and executes IT service enhancements and projects as assigned.
  • Provide support for IT Service delivery to the corporate end user according to service level commitments, corporate policy, corporate standards, and compliance requirements including:
    • Service Request Fulfillment
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Access Management
    • Change Management
  • Meet or beat service level commitments as defined by management and end-users
  • Maintains endpoint infrastructure services on a day-to-day basis. Assists in maintenance of up-time for endpoint Infrastructure systems.
  • Trains and consults with Field Operations, Management and, if required, with end users on IT related services.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and produces systems documentation in support of operations.
Other Responsibilities
  • Occasional travel for business if required.
  • Hybrid position requires coming into the office at least once per week.
  • Willing to work the flexible hours (e.g. of 9:30 am to 6 pm local time) within task-based work time regime. This is to provide overlap with the Atlanta and west coast team to coordinate with global teams as well as support. Also, project go-lives or coordinate with team members in other time zones for critical projects.
  • Performs duties as assigned by immediate manager.
  • Performs tasks necessary to complete performance objectives.
  • Assists team members as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Education Required
  • 5+ years working directly with rollout and management of endpoints.
  • Knowledge of Linux is a plus.
  • Knowledge of endpoint backup solutions
  • Knowledge of Networking technologies (Cisco, Meraki and PaloAlto firewalls) with regards to endpoint impact.
  • Basic knowledge on administering and maintaining LAN/WAN hardware and systems
  • Strong written and verbal business communication skills.
