The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents - partners, creators, consumers, and developers.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Creative Director, Americas Marketing Lead, and senior leaders across Dolby to guide our marketing initiatives. Beyond design, your impact will be strategic, as you inspire and mentor other creatives, foster collaboration, and translate business goals into innovative strategies that deliver meaningful results.

What You'll Do:
- Strategic leadership: Lead the development and execution of creative strategies for the Americas, translating business objectives into actionable creative direction and ensuring work that aligns with measurable outcomes.
- Creative direction: Oversee the creative direction of regional campaigns, ensuring alignment with Dolby's brand values and strategic goals, with a commitment to creative excellence across all touchpoints.
- Hands-on creative leadership: Actively engage in the creative process alongside your team, offering both strategic and practical input to ensure top-quality output.
- Team leadership & mentorship: Build and mentor a team of in-house and freelance designers, writers, and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and professional growth.
- Regional adaptation of global strategies: Adapt global creative strategies for the Americas region while ensuring brand consistency.
- Stakeholder management: Partner with senior stakeholders across business units to understand priorities, build strong partnerships, and ensure creative strategies align with business goals.
- Global collaboration: Coordinate with creative leads from other regions to maintain a cohesive global brand strategy, integrating regional insights effectively.
- Innovation & future-forward thinking: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging them to enhance Dolby's brand presence.
- Operational excellence: Ensure the seamless execution of creative assets across web, social media, email, out-of-home (OOH), and digital activations, maintaining high standards.
- 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand strategy, design, and creative direction on regional and global levels.
- 4+ years of experience managing and mentoring creative teams, with a record of inspiring high-performing teams.
- Experience directing external vendors, including agencies and freelancers.
- Strong interest in movies, TV, gaming, or music, with a capacity to lead projects that resonate with these industries.
- Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with a solid grasp of emerging technologies.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience translating business objectives into impactful creative strategies.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences clearly and persuasively.
