Summary:
As an Associate Engineer in the Ecosystem Testing team, you will collaborate with your team mates on automation of ecosystem tests in software environment. You'll get familiar with a wide range of Dolby products and will learn how they interoperate. You'll support tools and tests development in Python and other technologies. In our high-end labs you'll get a chance to hear and see how the greatest experience is being created.
We are seeking a skilled Assosiate Engineer to join the team on a fixed-term basis - 18-months fixed term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Implement automatic ecosystem tests,
- Implement new testing tools,
- Utilize and adapt existing test automation tools,
- Setup, configure and execute ecosystem test suites,
- Develop, configure and maintain software testing frameworks,
- Develop, configure and maintain testing hardware park,
- Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to isolate and resolve issues,
- Generate documentation and automate generation process,
- Support other employees with using the ecosystem testing framework.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience,
- Experience in Python programming,
- Basic experience with Windows and Linux operating systems,
- Basic knowledge and interest in Test Engineering practices and processes,
- Basic knowledge of signals processing,
- Good English spoken and written communication skills,
- Positive attitude and willingness to solve challenging problems.
- Experience with py.test,
- Knowledge of popular Python packages,
- Experience with versioning systems like Git,
- Audio and/or video coding and processing interest.
