We deliver experiences to consumers through our Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Lines, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digitally led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business, as well as other initiatives such as Hey, Disney!

This role sits in the Data Products & Platforms (DPP) organization within DX and as a Sr Product Manager, you will specialize in Digital Experiences and establish relationships while crafting the vision for our partners. Your focus on data from digital touchpoints will be instrumental in supporting critical decisions that drive guest happiness and revenue growth, underlining the significant impact of your role. Collaborating with cross-functional teams across marketing, IT, and analytics, this role will provide strategic leadership in gathering, storing, and using guest interaction data to optimize business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Management: Cultivate the relationship with business partners. Ensure data products align with business strategies and drive insights that increase guest experiences.

  • Partner Collaboration: You will work closely with partners, engineering, architecture, and data domain owners to define key use cases. As a liaison technical teams and business partners, the role will translate partner needs into clear data requirements, encouraging team collaboration.

  • Data Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain a roadmap for Digital Experiences data initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader data strategy and business goals. Based on partner feedback and analytics insights, prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements.

  • Guest Interaction Mapping & Insights: Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to analyze guest data, finding opportunities to optimize touchpoints, increase guest happiness, and drive revenue. Focus on personalization and recommendations to improve guest interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Work Experience: 5+ years of related work experience.

  • Business Sense: Experience translating business needs into actionable data requirements—a strong grasp of the impact of digital touchpoints on guest experience and business metrics.

  • Partnership Skills: Outstanding ability to collaborate with various teams, including marketing, data engineering, and analytics teams.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident in the ability to present complicated topics to an executive audience.

  • Analytical Mentality: Strong problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an asset.

  • Data Expertise: Established understanding of digital analytics platforms, guest interaction plotting, and data integration processes. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.

  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS), data transformation tools (e.g., debt), and SQL is a plus. Experience working with data pipelines that bring together and handle digital touchpoint data is also a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Product Owner (CPO)

  • Agile certifications

  • Knowledge of theme park, hospitality, or entertainment digital engagement

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Washington is $142,516.00 to $191,180.00 per year and in California is $136,038.00 to $182,490.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
