This is an internal assignment reporting to the Visual Media Systems Manager  

What You Will Do 

Smartsheet Development and Support

  • Develop, customize, and optimize Smartsheet solutions to support workflow optimization and tracking.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Smartsheet functionalities, including formulas, automations, integrations, and user permissions.
  • Design and implement Smartsheet dashboards and reporting tools for real-time tracking of project and financial data.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into efficient Smartsheet solutions.
  • Provide one-on-one and group training sessions to ensure users are proficient with Smartsheet tools and workflows.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Smartsheet-related inquiries, offering timely and effective technical support.
  • Maintain documentation of Smartsheet configurations, workflows, and best practices for internal reference.

Desktop Support

  • Provide robust technical support for both Windows and MacOS desktop systems, NAS, RAID, and network servers.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
  • Manage hardware inventory, including tracking, deployment, and maintenance of devices.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to quickly resolve user issues and minimize disruptions.
  • Create and update documentation for troubleshooting steps and IT policies to streamline support processes.

Enhance Workflow

  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop streamlined technical processes tailored to specific project needs.
  • Contribute to motion graphics collaborative workflows and utilize tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Unreal, Autodesk Maya, and Cinema 4D.

Technology Integration

  • Setup and support Windows/MacOS computer workstations and shared storage solutions to facilitate collaborative work environments.
  • Install and configure software tools and plugins to enhance creative and technical workflows.
  • Manage integration of third-party applications with existing systems to ensure seamless compatibility. 

Required Qualifications & Skills  

  • Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet, including formulas, automations, dashboards, and development.
  • Understand desktop/server hardware, professional video IO hardware, web streaming technologies, and codecs.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and MacOS systems.
  • Hands-on experience with NAS, RAID, and network server support.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
  • Understand video editing workflows from acquisition to delivery, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Strong knowledge of file systems, permissions, and data organization strategies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software integrations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard video and audio production formats and their technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience in a live video production environment.
  • Knowledge of IP Video Transport (RTMP, NDI) and CDN services.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics workflows and rendering pipelines.
  • Strong capability in implementing IT best practices in a creative or studio environment.
  • Experience with video production tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Unreal Engine, and Autodesk Maya.

Education  

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
